James Crosland counsels’ clients on estate planning, tax planning, and trust and probate administration matters. He enjoys helping people create an estate plan tailored to their needs and goals, today and into the future. He listens carefully and works thoughtfully in coordination with other members of the estate team to create a thorough estate plan to provide the peace of mind for families.
James received his law degree (J.D.) from The George Washington University Law School in 2016. He earned his undergraduate degree (B.A.) from Claremont McKenna College in 2007. During law school, James worked as a litigation law clerk at a boutique employment law firm that protected both public and private-sector employee rights in the workplace. Before joining the Altman and Associates team, James serves as general counsel to a variety of small businesses and guided individuals through the estate administration and probate process.
James is a member of the Maryland State Bar, the Virginia State Bar, the District of Columbia, and the Montgomery County Bar Association. He lives in Rockville, Maryland, and enjoys spending his time traveling and exploring the outdoors with his family often with a fishing rod in hand.
