We may be in the midst of baseball season, but it's an NFL player that has our attention today...

Former Chiefs wide receiver, Dwayne Bowe, flew to Kansas City to attend the funeral of a fan known as "Grandma" by the players.  Betty Johnson had been a Chiefs season ticket holder for nearly 30 years.

During his eight seasons with the Chiefs, Bowe would kiss "Grandma" before every home game.  When she passed away at 86 years old, Bowe (now with the Cleveland Browns) flew back to Kansas City to attend her services.

As if it couldn't get any sweeter, Bowe wrote on a wreath of white flowers at her memorial:  "You might have thought you were the Chiefs No. 1 fan, but in so many ways, we were yours.  Thanks for making Arrowhead feel like home to me. I will continue to play my heart out for you. Kisses to you my special angel."
