Two Altman & Associates attorneys, Gary Altman and Robert Freda, have been named as the area's "Best Financial Advisers" of 2019 by Washingtonian magazine. To arrive at the names of the area’s top financial advisers, including the fee-only financial planners, fee-based advisers, estate attorneys, tax accountants, and insurance advisers, Washingtonian surveyed hundreds of people who work in the local financial industry, asking them whom they would trust with their own money. They also did their own research, consulting industry experts and publications. Only people who received the strongest recommendations were then acknowledged in the issue.
