To most of us, Memorial Day weekend is the kick-off to summer, beach life, flip flops, shorts, outdoor activities, barbecues, summer flowers, and many other activities.
No matter how you celebrate, pause, and reflect on those brave men and women and their families who paid the ultimate price and gave their lives or came home different for our freedoms—the freedoms we take for granted every day, we owe to our nation’s heroes. With our country so divided, Memorial Day is when we thank them for their sacrifice.
To those clients and friends that visit our office, you will see many patriotic paintings that pay homage to our nation’s heroes and the American flag. As a group, our philanthropic goals are to support Wreaths Across America, DAR, Wounded Warriors, Flight 93 National Memorial, and other associations that support the men and women in the armed forces.
